Art Chantry's Crockshock was created for a Seattle event that wanted to get in on the success of Garageshock. Held at the famous Bell Town haunt The Crocodile Cafe, aka The Croc, it featured many of the usual suspects and allowed another venue to be able to introduce the world to these bands and their mayhem in a larger venue. It also allowed the bands, often from places as far away as outer space itself, to play two shows in the PNW in one long holiday weekend.
